The Aquamax Eco Expert pumps are equipped with the patented Oase Seasonal Flow Control (SFC) technology. This feature uses a thermostat to detect the temperature of the water. When the temperature is cold enough, the power consumption and flow rate of the pump are reduced by up to 30%. This helps save electricity and money during the colder months when less filtration is needed due to less algae growth. While this feature is great for filtration systems, it should be turned off if the pump is being used to supply water.
