The AquaMax Eco Premium pumps are known to be highly economical and efficient, thanks to their new generation of servomotors that can save up to 40% energy compared to conventional pumps. To make maintenance easier, a remote strainer can be used to collect water from different parts of the pond, preventing stagnant areas. You can also connect a skimmer to take water from the top and bottom of the pond. 
 
Models 12000, 16000, and 20000 have the patented Oase Seasonal Flow Control (SFC) switch located beneath the pump's plastic housing. This feature uses a thermostat to detect the water temperature, reducing the power consumption and flow rate of the pump by up to 30% during colder months when less filtration is needed. This saves electricity and money, but if the pump is used for a water feature, the SFC feature should be turned off to avoid affecting the feature's aesthetic. These pumps can be installed submerged underwater or dry-mounted.
