Oase Pond Pads are an excellent bio-filter media that come with an innovative surface and pore structure. This high-performance filter medium has been developed by Oase to be used in filter systems for koi ponds, swim ponds, and garden ponds. With their extremely large surface area, Oase Pond Pads can be used perfectly in a moving bed process.
 
When used in a moving bed system, Oase Pond Pads provide a maintenance-free, self-cleaning filter medium. The Pond Pads will achieve a neutral floating behavior after approximately 6-10 weeks, depending on the water temperature and load.
 
Thanks to their large surface area, Oase Pond Pads are capable of removing ammonia NH3/ammonium NH4 and nitrite NO2 via nitrification. Approximately 10L of media can decompose about 200g of fish food in 24 hours, making them an efficient choice for pond owners.
