The Oase ProfiClear Premium XL moving bed modules provide a simple method of biological filtration. These modules contain the PondPads, the new media from Oase that have 6.25x the surface area per m³ compared to the older Hel-X 13. This massive surface area encourages the growth of good bacteria within the moving bed module, aiding the removal of harmful toxins such as ammonium, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.
