These Aquascape Professional Pond Kits are comprehensive kits that come complete with all the items required to build a range of differently sized Aquascape Ecosystem ponds ranging from a small 1.5m x 2m up to a sizeable 3.5m x 5.5m, all with a depth of 60cm. The only other materials required are rocks, gravel and pond plants!
These kits include:
Aquascape flat sheet liner of a size big enough to create the chosen sized pond with a depth of 60cm (0.6m).
Protective fleece underlay to line the dug hole, preventing puncturing of the pond liner. The larger kits include extra fleece for protecting both sides of the pond liner.
Signature Series Skimmer for housing the provided filter pump and skimming the water surface of any floating debris such as dust, leaves and twigs.
EcoWave pond pump for efficiently feeding the filter system with pond water.
Dual Union Check Valve 2.0 for connecting the pump to the skimmer outlet, preventing backflow from the filter in the event of the pump being turned off.
BioFalls biological filter for filtering the pond water both mechanically and biologically, removing debris and algae through their filter mats and removing excess nutrient by encouraging healthy bacterial processes.
BioBalls biological filter media for maximising biological filtration through increasing the surface area available for bacteria to colonise within the filter unit.
Rock tray for holding rocks and gravel to hide the filter unit within the landscape.
Flexible PVC pipework, PVC glue & fittings for feeding water to the filter system and watercourse and connecting this pipework to the skimmer and filter.
Black waterfall foam for securing and filling gaps between rocks and boulders used to construct and naturalise the pond and watercourse.
Black silicone sealant for sealing joints where liner attaches to skimmer face plates and filter snouts.
SL Dosing System for creating and maintaining great water chemistry, improving the efficiency of the filtration system and aiding the removal of excess nutrient.
Maintain for Ponds SL treatment containing beneficial bacteria to kick start biological action in the pond, phosphate binder and flocculant to reduce nutrient levels and suspended algae cells, and pond detoxifier to remove and detoxify chlorine, chloramine, heavy metals and other toxins.
