This pond liner material has the same physical characteristics as Butyl, but comes with a cost saving of around 30%. It has been extensively used by landscapers and civil engineers for ponds, lakes, canals, and reservoirs. To calculate the size of the liner and fleece for your pond, you should use a rope. Follow these steps for accurate measurements:
 
1. Measure the maximum length of your pond and add twice the maximum depth of your pond. Then, add an extra meter for the edging.
 
2. Measure the maximum width of your pond and add twice the maximum depth of your pond. Then, add an extra meter for the edging.
 
For example, if your pond is 8 meters long, 4 meters wide, and 1 meter deep, you will need a liner that measures 11 meters by 7 meters.
