Pond Services in East Grinstead
East Grinstead sits in the High Weald, close to where West Sussex meets Surrey and Kent, with Ashdown Forest to the south and Weir Wood Reservoir just outside the town. It is a landscape of sloping gardens, sandstone and woodland, well suited to natural ponds, streams and waterfalls. Aquatic Landscapes Ltd designs, builds and maintains ponds across East Grinstead, Forest Row, Felbridge and the surrounding villages.
Pond Cleaning in East Grinstead
Ponds surrounded by woodland collect leaves, needles and silt, and over time that turns the water dark and starves it of oxygen. Our pond cleaning in East Grinstead removes the build-up carefully. Fish go into holding tanks, the pond is pumped down, sludge is cleared from the base and shelves, and the rockwork and planting are cleaned and protected before the pond is refilled and rebalanced.
Commercial Pond Cleaning in East Grinstead
We provide commercial pond cleaning in East Grinstead for hotels, country estates, schools, business parks and care homes. Larger ponds and lakes need a planned approach, so we agree a method, timings and safe working with you before we start, and keep disruption for guests, pupils or residents to a minimum.

After a clean, regular pond maintenance in East Grinstead keeps things that way. Seasonal visits cover netting and leaf clearance, pump and filter servicing, water testing and plant care, with the timing set around your trees and the size of your pond.

Pond Design and Pond Installation in East Grinstead
Sloping High Weald gardens are ideal for water. Our pond design in East Grinstead often uses the fall of the land for a stream or waterfall running into a natural pond, built with stone that suits the local sandstone. Every pond installation in East Grinstead includes correct depths, a protected liner, natural rockwork and filtration sized for the system.
Pond Repair in East Grinstead
If your pond keeps dropping, the water will not clear or the pump has given up, our pond repair in East Grinstead tracks down the cause and puts it right properly, from liner repairs to rebuilding edges and replacing equipment.
Larger Ponds and Lakes
Around East Grinstead there are larger ponds and small lakes on estates, farms and hotel grounds. These need a different approach to a garden pond: managing silt over a wider area, keeping inlets and overflows clear, and controlling reeds and lilies so open water stays open. We plan this kind of work in phases so the wildlife that depends on the water is disturbed as little as possible.
Pond Pumps and Pond Equipment in East Grinstead
Woodland ponds work their equipment hard. Our pond pumps in East Grinstead are chosen to cope with the extra debris, and we add pond equipment such as pre-filters and skimmers that stop leaves and needles from clogging the system in the first place.
Rainwater Harvesting and Irrigation in East Grinstead
Rainwater can top up ponds and water gardens in dry spells. We design rainwater harvesting and irrigation systems in East Grinstead that store and reuse what falls on your roof, reducing reliance on mains water.
